We Believe
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God written by men divinely inspired and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction; that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; that reveals the principles by which God will judge us, and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of the world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried.
God the Father
We believe that there is one God who is infinitely perfect and who forever exist and reveals himself in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. All have the same nature, attributes, and perfections which are all worthy of the same worship and obedience. We believe that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all things. We also believe that God sent His son Jesus Christ into the world to save sinners.
Man
We believe that man was created in the likeness of God, but because of Adam’s sin all men fell through disobedience bringing about both spiritual and physical death. All mean are born with a sinful nature and are separated from the life of God and can be saved only through the atoning work of Jesus Christ. Those that don’t believe and won’t repent will forever be separated from God and those that believe and have repented and walks in the will of God shall forever have joy and happiness in the presence of God.
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a gift from God for all men and all that repent and believe in Jesus Christ are justified by grace and are saved through faith and not of works. Through this we are born again of the Holy Spirit, we receive the gift of eternal life and become children of God.
The Ordinances
We believe the ordinances which every believer is to observe are the water baptism by immersion in water and the Lord’s Supper as a memorial of Christ being crucified, buried and risen. They are, however, not to be looked upon as a way of salvation, but both are a testimony of the believer’s obedience and fellowship with the Lord.
Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe that it is the will of God that every believer should be filled with the Holy Spirit and be sanctified wholly, being separated from sin and the world and totally dedicated to the will of God, in which receiving heavenly power for holy living and valuable service.
Sanctification
We believe the scriptures teach that sanctification is the will of God. That through new birth sanctification is the work of the Holy Spirit to bring a person to spiritual wholeness.
Divine Healing
We believe that provision is made by the Lord Jesus Christ through redemption for the healing of the natural/spiritual body. We believe that through the anointing and the power of God and prayer for the sick (natural and spiritual) that anyone can be healed if they believe for themselves.
Resurrection
We believe that there will be a time when all who are in their graves will hear the voice of God and come out, those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned. (John 5:28-29)
Return of the Lord
We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Creation
We believe in the beginning God created all things, both visible and invisible. He spoke into existence and we believe that He is the sustainer of everything that He creates.
Hell/Devil
We believe that the devil does exist and running rapid through this world trying to kill, steal, and destroy the souls of men, women, and children. For all who will practice ungodliness, unnatural desires, and all manner of evil, we believe will be condemned in the lake of fire with the devil for eternal damnation.
